Colorado Christian University, a private, not-for-profit university, announced today that it is launching an online Master of Organizational Leadership degree.
While it is a business degree, it does not focus on finance, so it is geared toward students who would like to study leadership and management without focusing on the economic and monetary aspects of running a business, according to the school’s news release.
If pursued full time, the 12-course, 36-credit hour degree can be completed in two years. Though it can be completed online, students will be required to attend two three-day sessions at the university’s main campus in Lakewood, Colo., to fulfill six credit hours.
The first cohort of the new program begins in January. The interdisciplinary curriculum includes coursework in constitutional law, information systems, leading in government and non-profit organizations, and the theory and practice of organizational leadership.
Tuition for the 2012-2013 school year is $452 per credit hour. Colorado Christian University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
