Liberty University has tripled enrollment in its bilingual program Liberty University en Espanol. The program, which was established in fall 2010, has grown from 99 students enrolled in 2011 to 298 students by the end of the 2012 academic year.
As an extension of Lynchburg, Va. based- Liberty University, Liberty University en Espanol offers bilingual courses of study for associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees in business, ministry, psychology, counseling, criminal justice, education, and paralegal studies.
The increases in bilingual education mirror the overallexplosive enrollment growth Liberty University is seeing. The school is predicted to have over 100,000 students enrolled by the end of the year, which would make it the second largest university in the country.
