Arizona State University‘s subsidiary program ASU Colleges at Lake Havasu City has partnered with education services provider Pearson. ASU Colleges at Lake Havasu City is a new program that will focus exclusively on high-demand degrees and charge lower tuition than traditional universities.
The new school, which opens fall 2012, will offer bachelor’s degrees in life sciences, psychology, communications, organizational leadership, and general studies. The school will be using Pearson’s customizable e-books and proprietary learning management system LearningStudio.
The adoption of a completely e-book based curriculum is part of ASU Colleges’ focus on sustainable culture, which will be a theme that ties together the school’s freshman level courses. Currently ASU Colleges at Lake Havasu City is not offering any online degree plans.
