International Teacher Development Institute (iTDi), an online learning platform for teachers, has created courses in English and teacher development. Each course has 60-90 minute sessions allowing teachers to hone their English speaking and English teaching skills through the English for Teachers (ET) program or to gain valuable insights and teaching ideas from other educators across the nation through the Teacher Development (DT) program.

Through the ET sessions, teachers are able to discuss various issues they may be encountering in the classroom teaching English. Users are able to interact with iTDi authors and associates. According to the site, there are five lessons currently available, with 20 more soon to be released.

The DT program pits teachers with a collaborative group of teaching experts and current teachers to engage in discussing the 25 different modules. Each module has various sub-topics within its teaching session.

iTDi has created its own social media network which has adopted a very Facebook like format. The iTDi Teacher Community keeps teachers in contact with each other and the iTDi faculty. The Community gives users the ability to make friend requests, write on walls, create forums, and create a blog to publish teaching ideas and new discoveries. For every session a user enrolls into they are given 30 days of access to the community.
