Brandman University, a private, not-for-profit member of the Chapman University System, offers a variety of online degree and certificate programs, particularly at the bachelor’s degree level and higher. Brandman is based in Irvine, Calif., but has campuses all across California and Washington.
Brandman offers one associate degree program, an associate of arts degree in general education, which includes coursework in communication, liberal studies, math, history, art, philosophy, social sciences, and natural sciences. This degree could be ideal for someone who seeks a degree but is unsure of what to study, has an interest in a variety of subjects, or hopes to earn an associate degree and transfer to a bachelor’s degree program later on.
Bachelor’s degree offerings at Brandman are vast, and include bachelor of arts programs in criminal justice, early childhood education, legal studies, sociology, psychology, organizational leadership, and culture and media studies. Brandman also offers 11 bachelor of business administration programs, in fields including supply chain systems, organizational communication, human resources, marketing, finance, and entrepreneurship.
Brandman also offers a variety of master’s degree programs, primarily in the fields of business and education. Students can earn an online Master of Business Administration in international business, information security management, e-business strategic management, or one of nine other fields. Eight different master’s degrees are available in education; two are available in healthcare innovation; and one each is available in organizational leadership and human resources.
One of Brandman’s most unique offerings is a four-course authorization program that provides students with a teaching credential to serve learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Students can also earn undergraduate certificates in nutrition and wellness, and mother-baby health care.
Brandman is regionally accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
