Edtech Clever Raises $3 Million in Funding

Clever, an education technology company, announced today it raised $3 million during its round of seed funding. The San Francisco-startup received funding from several investors including Google Venture, Ashton Kutcher, and SV Angel.

Clever is a graduate from the incubator, Y Combinator, and has integrated with more than 2,000 K-12 schools for their online learning methods. The edtech tool enables schools and teachers to integrate their student data.

According to the website, the data entry tool is Family Educational Right and Privacy Act compliant.
