Stew Friedman has been on the Wharton faculty since 1984. He became the management department’s first professor of practice and has worked on applying theory and research to the real world challenges faced by organizations. Friedman is the founding director of the Wharton Leadership Program and Wharton’s work/life integration project. His books and journal articles on integrating work and life led to Friedman being chosen by Working Mother as one of the 25 most influential men for having made things better for working parents.
