Touro College, a private, not-for-profit college based in New York City, announced Nov. 21 it will be adding two new online master’s programs to its technological degree offerings. Students can now earn an online master’s in software development or ecommerce technology.
Unlike traditional online learning programs, Touro College’s approach to education does not focus on lectures and tests. Instead, Touro’s degrees are based on solving problems in professional situations, working in teams, and building on existing skills, according to its website.
Students in the software development online master’s program will take courses in website development, web application development, database development, mobile development, and software product development. The degree is designed to be completed in one year of full-time study or two years of part-time study.
