What started out as a school of accountancy in Pittsburgh in 1921 has now grown into a full-scale university in Moon Township, Penn., offering bachelor’s and master’s degrees as well as certificate and professional development programs. Robert Morris University, named for the man believed to be the financier of the American Revolution, offers many of its degree programs in fully-online and hybrid formats.
Robert Morris offers bachelor’s degrees in a variety of fields, such as cyber forensics and information security, economics, English, health services administration, hospitality and tourism, nursing, organizational leadership, and psychology. Students interested in studying business are encouraged to major in either economics or hospitality and tourism.
Master’s programs at Robert Morris are available in business fields such as business education, human resource management, business administration, nonprofit management, and organizational leadership. Students interested in technology fields could pursue a master’s degree in competitive intelligence systems, internet information systems, or internet security assurance. Robert Morris also offers hybrid degree programs in engineering management, instructional leadership, nursing, and nursing education.
Robert Morris also offers a variety of fully-online certificate programs in fields such as cyber forensics and information security, leadership in simulation instruction and management, teaching online, professional enterprise systems, and five different fields within organizational leadership.
All of Robert Morris’ online students are taught by the same professors who teach on campus. Some students may be eligible for credits based on past professional experiences. All online students are assigned a personal advisor, will have coaching and immediate assistance on technical issues, and have access to many school amenities.
