U.S. News Top Online Degrees List Features New Number One

Pace University, a private, 4-year not-for-profit institution in New York City, is believed to have the top online bachelor’s degree program in the country, according to U.S. News and World Report’s second annual rankings list of top online schools. Pace had the highest overall score, which was based on faculty credentials and training; student services and technology; and student engagement.

Rounding out the top 10 are Daytona State College in Florida, St. John’s University in New York, Westfield State University in Massachusetts, Graceland University-Lamoni in Iowa, Lawrence Technological University in Michigan, Colorado State Global Campus in Colorado, in California, Bellevue University in Nebraska, and Regent University in Virginia.

In total, 237 fully-online bachelor’s degree programs were evaluated. Other programs of note that made the list are: Pennsylvania State University World Campus (16); Post University (19); University of Florida (34); Arizona State University (40); Park University (107); and Liberty University (109).

The list also ranked top graduate programs in various categories: business, education, engineering, information technology, and nursing. In addition to faculty credentials and training; student services and technology; and student engagement, graduate programs were also ranked according to their admissions selectivity. The top five schools in each category are listed below:
