The Online Classroom
Baker College, which was first known as Muskegon College, was founded by Woodbridge Ferris in 1888. The Michigan-based, not-for-profit school now has 17 locations and offers education online. It has grown to become the largest private college in Michigan. The school now has more than 43,000 students and offers more than 150 programs.
Baker College offers students programs that are accessible, market-driven, career-focused, and that can help lead to employment and career advancement. Through the curriculum, students will learn from skilled teachers and work experiences.
Baker Online offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate degrees, along with program certificates. Students are offered courses in business, health sciences, information systems, engineering, technology, culinary, and automotive. Baker College recently developed its app for some students to remain informed even while away from their computers. The school is also connected to Blackboard to assist students with their studies. In addition, the library is available for online students, which allows access to books, video, and other vital information for course work.

Admissions advisors work with students to help them understand all the options that are available. The advisors assist students in preparing all materials needed to apply for scholarships, grants, loans, and work aid.
