When it comes to higher education, Louisiana online colleges and universities can easily be found within the public education system. The Louisiana Board of Regents oversees all four of the state’s public systems of higher education, the University of Louisiana System, Louisiana State University System, Southern University System, and the Louisiana Community and Technical College System. With eight institutions, the University of Louisiana System is the largest among the 20 largest public systems in the country.
